Plenhyage XL
Aesthetic Medicine made in Italy
biocompatible, non-allergenic gel-like preparation with a high content of polynucleotides for natural regeneration and triggering of self-healing mechanisms at the cellular level.
The italian Beauty solution
Stimulation of the adenosine receptor by PDRN
  • Enhances cell proliferation rates, particularly among fibroblasts.
  • Promotes pre-adipocyte proliferation.
  • Exhibits anti-inflammatory effects by regulating cytokine expression.
  • Helps maintain water balance and acts as a potent antioxidant by eliminating free radicals.

The evolution of polynucleotides in Aesthetic Medicine

2 different concentrations
Plenhyage XL Medium
Reparat is used as a temporary filler for minor skin defects (shallow wrinkles), for lip contour correction, treatment of fibrous changes (medium-sized scars) on various areas of the face (periorbital area, cheeks, cheekbones), on the neck, in the décolleté area, back of the hands, abdomen, thighs and buttocks.
Plenhyage XL Strong
Biocompatible, non-allergenic gel preparation with a high content of polynucleotides for natural regeneration and triggering of self-healing mechanisms at the cellular level. Gel based on polymerized polynucleotides Plenhyage is intended for intradermal injections

Biological effects of
PDRN
05
Restoration of fibroblast activity
PDRN serve as sources of purine and pyrimidine rings, acting as mediators for signal transduction.
06
Induction of the water retention
PDRN modulate purine water channels (membrane channels for water) and serine C-palmitoyl transferase (which synthesizes ceramide phospholipids), thereby preventing dehydration.
07
Induction of angiogenesis
Through the activation of HIF-1 (hypoxia-inducible factor 1), they represent a strong stimulus for the angiogenic action of growth factors.
08
Induction of mitochondrial biogenesis
PDRN adjusts the metabolic program to fit specific cellular states, expanding the mitochondrial network and promoting proper differentiation through cell proliferation.
09
Anti
inflammatory
The A2A receptor in addition to being involved in cell and tissue proliferation also regulates the expression of cytokines and inflammatory processes
010
Inhibition of melanogenesis
Antioxidants in cells have the ability to regulate the expression
of Ferritin through their activity.
011
Boost Elastin and Collagen formation
PDRN enhance the formation of elastin and collagen by binding to the hyaluronic acid naturally present in our body and stimulating the synthesis of elastin and collagen.
Conclusions
Needle

Recommended areas

Face, neck, décolleté, hands, abdomen, hips, scalp, intimate areas, etc.

Injection depth

Intradermal

Advantages

The needle’s mechanical action stimulates the activation of natural tissue repair processes.

Disadvantages

Boluses may remain visible (the exact reabsorption time depends on the amount of product injected). The procedure can be painful and may result in bruising.

Cannula

Recommended areas

Cheek, neck, décolleté, abdomen.
NOT TO BE USED on scalp and intimate areas

Injection depth

Hypodermis (subcutaneous)

Advantages

A painless procedure that makes it less likely for bruises to form. The treated area remains uniform, with a more gradual absorption of the product, resulting in a longer-lasting lifting effect (similar to Evantiha 15). Patients who see results earlier tend to be more satisfied.

Disadvantages

Gradual absoption, it circulates slowly

The choice depends on the operator

Plenhyage XL is a product that offers a lot of flexibility. It’s essential to consider the time required for a treatment (using a cannula needle allows for treating more patients in less time) and the patient’s pain tolerance.

The long-term effect does not change!

However, in the short term, there may be differences. For example, when treating the neck with a cannula, there is an immediate ‘lifting’ effect, whereas using a needle may result in visible boluses, and the effect may take a bit longer to become noticeable (usually within 1-2 weeks).

Off-label
Plenhyage XL has shown excellent results in trichology, vulnology, and the treatment of conditions such as bedsores, diabetic ulcers, and skin burns. It is also utilized to enhance skin engraftment in plastic surgery.
